About Us

As a trio, David, Bella, and Allison form a powerhouse — blending artistry, business acumen, and nonprofit leadership. Fire Creek Neon produces high-end custom neon and restoration work, while the Institute of Neon Arts showcases neon’s cultural importance through exhibits, partnerships, and preservation efforts. Their shared vision is bold: bring real neon back to the forefront — not just as signage, but as art, history, and heritage.

David McMillan
Founder • Master Neon Glass Bender • Visionary Behind INA
David McMillan brings over 40 years of neon craftsmanship to the table, from operating Southern Oregon’s largest sign company to building mass production systems for aftermarket truck products. A master of real neon tube bending, sign restoration, and vintage preservation, David has seen trends come and go — but his torch has never gone cold. His deep knowledge of fabrication, electrical systems, and design fuels both Fire Creek Neon, the commercial studio, and INA, the nonprofit dedicated to neon’s history, culture, and future. Whether he’s restoring a 1940s sign or mentoring new artists, David’s mission is simple: keep the glow alive.

Bella McMillan

She coordinates between clients, vendors, and the INA community, ensuring that both Fire Creek projects and nonprofit initiatives run seamlessly. Bella also leads digital communications and community outreach, helping share the magic of neon with the world. Her passion for design and detail shows in every glowing project — and every meaningful connection.

Whether it’s organizing a public neon showcase or designing a digital download collection, Allison ensures the heart of the craft shines through — online and in person.

Mission
At Fire Creek Neon, our mission is to keep real neon alive — one handcrafted tube at a time. With over 40 years of experience in neon bending, sign restoration, and industrial design, we create glowing works of art that blend vintage craftsmanship with modern style. From custom neon signs to fine art pieces, we bring fire, glass, and story together under one roof. As we reignite production in Southern Oregon, Fire Creek also proudly supports and partners with the Institute of Neon Arts (INA) — a nonprofit devoted to preserving and exhibiting the culture and legacy of neon across America.
Vision
Our vision is to lead the West Coast in authentic neon craftsmanship while serving as a vital part of America’s sign-making heritage. By integrating daily studio work with the outreach efforts of INA, we aim to not only build for clients but also inspire the public, host exhibitions, and mentor the next wave of neon artists. Fire Creek Neon is more than a sign company — it’s a glowing bridge between tradition and tomorrow.
